Massive Music will present music, texts, and composers who carry significance in music history and the world. The first half will feature a “Missa Mixta” (combining the works of several different composers to create one full mass setting) including Manfred Länger Gloria (North American premiere, from Missa deus est caritas), Palestrina Kyrie (from Mass for Four Voices), Martin Sanctus (from Mass for double choir), and the Stravinsky Pater Noster, among others. The second half will include secular pieces highlighted by Three Shakespeare Songs by Ralph Vaughan Williams. Special Guests will include the Hausmann Quartet. The concert will conclude with both ensembles combining to perform Barber's Agnus Dei (Adagio for Strings), dedicated to those lost to gun violence in this country.

Children 5 and under are free.
